Relating Through Realness
Sharing the love this Valentines week is Jose Luis Sanchez [@jls143_]. This Marine Corps Veteran is doing amazing things with his charity Rise Above Hardship or R.A.H. [@riseabovehardship] by empowering the military community with tools to build the mind, body, and spirit. Hear the about the physical and mental transformation that occurred when Sanchez suffered serious lower extremity injuries from and IED just two weeks before he was set to come home from war.
What makes Sanchez’s story so amazing is his honesty. The road to recovery and mental wellness is a long one fraught with an incredible amount of pain and hate. Sanchez now harnesses his experience to usher others through their own trauma. We couldn’t be more stoked to get out his story and all he’s doing for the veteran community.
EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.
Follow Jose @jls143_ and @RiseAboveHardship. Like and share his events and get involved by messaging him on instagram. Whether you’re a veteran or a civilian, I think his advice at the end of the show is universal. “Let love in, let love out”.
