How Do I reach These keeeeeds?

We are stoked to have Jim Kielbasa back on the show to talk training kids through his years of experience and his organization, the International Youth Conditioning Association. Jim explains that his motivation for starting the program was to educate coaches on the delicate balance of working with 8-18 year olds. Coaching kids is long journey that starts with the best of intentions and as Jim explains, the coach themself is usually the reason a kid sticks with a sport or quits.

Jim provides real tools, not just lip service, on how to polish your coaching interaction with youth athletes. He also talks about his experience navigating overzealous parents and what to do when you encounter those fucked up coaches who enjoy yelling at kids because they see their own failures in them. Yeah, that’s some serious psychological shit.

EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.

Be sure and check out the IYCA at IYCA.org. From that site you’ll be able to track down Jim and attend any number of his speaking engagements. Jim can also be found on IG at @JimKilebaso.
