Get your buzz on this holiday season with a Power Athlete HQ favourite! You may be familiar with a Moscow Mule which is a combination of vodka, lime and ginger beer. But if you’re a bourbon fan… this version is for you! The bourbon pairs well with the spicy ginger beer and makes it a more flavourful cocktail! Inspired by the fine folks at Jim Beam!

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Bourbon (Jim Beam)
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • Ginger beer to top (Fever-Tree)
  • Garnish: Mint Sprig and lime wheel

EQUIPMENT NEEDED

  • Copper mugs or highball glass

METHOD

Step 1: Add the bourbon to a copper mug or a highball glass

Step 2: Add lime juice and full the mug with ice 

Step 3: Top with ginger beer

Step 4: Garnish with mint sprig and a lime wheel

Step 5:  Get your sip on!

Starting as a personal trainer in various gyms, she eventually found CrossFit which lead her to CrossFit Football. In 2015 Rachel completed her CrossFit Football certification which opened up many doors of opportunity within coaching. Since then she has completed Power Athlete Methodology course, earned her Block 1 and put that knowledge into action coaching collegiate level athletes. Throughout the years training, proper nutrition and lifestyle habits have been the pillars in helping her clients and athletes achieve their true potential. Rachel currently working as a performance coach applying the Power Athlete principles with all of her clients.
