  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 lb lamb
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 3 cloves garlic – minced
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Step 1: In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients and gently mix until evenly combined. Don’t overwork the meat – just enough to form 4 evenly portioned patties

Step 2:  Preheat barbecue to medium high heat

Step 3: Place the patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes each side. Ground lamb should be fully cooked, so no pink on the inside of your burgers!

Step 4:  Remove from grill and serve alongside homemade French fries and topped with tzatziki sauce! Garnish with fresh mint if you like – enjoy!
