The Future of COaching
At the intersection of technology and fitness is Unplugged, a book authored by Dr. Andy Galpin and Phil White. In this episode we’ll discuss those complicated and often contradicting worlds.
A strength coach’s obligation is to improve performance but that role is not as definitive as you may think. With the advent of technology in fitness, more and more coaches can be seen becoming reliant on devices ranging from wearables to contact power mats. As our guests discuss, these tools are just that. They cannot replace a deep understanding of the function for which these devices serve. Hear how you can implement the use of technology in moderation to compliment your coaching, not replace it.
EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.
Now it’s time for you to empower your performance. You can find the book Unplugged online wherever books are sold. And take a gander at www.AndyGalpin.com where he is reportedly giving away his lectures! That sounds like the CFFB business model to me. And aspiring romance novelist and current author Phil White can be found at www.philwhitebooks.com.
