Science, Application, Context, Domination

If you’ve been listening to the past few episodes, you know that we’ve been emphasizing a theme of leadership and growth. But that is not today’s subject matter. We are getting back to our strength and conditioning roots with none other than University of Missouri’s, Dr Bryan Mann.

Bryan talks with crew about the science of dynamic movement as it pertains to weight room results vs. on field performance. This debate is not a new one but what Dr. Mann brings to the table is his own published research. He also discusses in depth about how to determine injury predisposition and how to address it specifically. Another interesting nugget is something he discovered when testing athletes’ power potential during the stressful mid term season.

Hey. Let’s train our brains together.

EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.

What I love about Bryan is that he spent most of his promo time talking about an event he wasn’t even going to. Because he thought it was that great…so maybe…check that shit out. April 21st go to NSCA.com. As Bryan also mentioned, he’s got a few speaking engagements planned so be sure to follow him closely on Facebook and instagram @jBryanMann. Until then, stay up to date with his work, his many articles and studies, which are found on www.elitists.com where he is a regular contributor.
