Was wondering (1), if you could shed some light on your adaptation of the power athlete programming and your cffb training history and (2), insight into helping my wife train aside from what's outlined in the CFFB beginners guide,
My wife has been running 30+ miles a week for the last 3 years consistently. I recently converted her to the dark side. She started the amateur progression 3 weeks ago. I'm fired up and motivated to help her reach her training goals which are to increase her strength, do a strict pull up, and still be able to run at least 1 five mile run a week in under 40min. Any knowledge you could pass on would be awesome.

Any favorite cues or encouragement for female athletes who are afraid of the weight on the bar? For example, an athlete who is afraid of getting stuck at the bottom of a back squat?
can you guys explain the limiting factors that coaches are looking for in athletes, (flexibility,stability etc.) in terms of is it a hierarchy? if I teach the athlete a back squat and they are a train wreck flexibility wise do I not have them squat and work on mobility until they can get into the right position? and if the flexibility is ok and the stability is shit?
