The Future of Muscle Science
If it’s knowledge you seek, look no further than this week’s episode. Dr Keith Baar [Twitter: @MuscleScience] takes John, Luke, and Tex to school on subjects like molecular exercise physiology and musculoskeletal tissue engineering. Did you know that there are experiments going on right now in which lab grown human muscle tissue is being tested as a mechanism to perform other tasks…like run engines! This is the power of the muscle’s ability to repair itself. If your goal is hypertrophy, longevity, performance, or to hear some scifi shit, you’ve come to the right place.
From injury prevention, common training fallacies, how diet and exercise REALLY affect aging, and So. Much. More. Dr Keith Baar [Twitter: @MuscleScience] takes us on a ride through what the muscular system is really capable of and how the future of science hopes to harness that power. Hear Baar’s detailed explanation of how our bodies process proteins from plant and animal sources and the research that is currently being done on this hot topic. John is full of questions and Dr Baar obliges with some incredible explanations. You’ll want to sober up for this one.

Follow Dr Keith Baar and his research on twitter @MuscleScience. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled at your local grocery store for the snake-cow which I’m sure is just weeks away from FDA approval.
