The life of a college or professional strength coach is fraught with highs and lows. In an industry dependent on so many variables outside your control, it’s a wonder why anyone would build a career on a team’s wins and losses. But, that’s exactly what Aaron Ausmus [@aaron_ausmus] successfully did at several universities. However, Aaron will tell you first hand that you don’t know coaching until you know why you’re doing it.
Hear how Aaron put together his own training and coaching philosophy that would eventually lead him to spearhead his own program. As Aaron states, the time when you learn the most is when you are in charge.
Aaron is now part of the tight knit crew of Sorinex, still coaching and being a resource for athletes looking for that guidance. This former thrower knows what it’s like to coach oneself and after all of his experience in athletics, he believes that mentoring is one of the greatest gifts a coach can provide.

A strength and conditioning coach since 2009, Cali has worked with numerous athletes spanning from rugby players to cross country skiers. Almost immediately after finding CrossFit in 2010, she was introduced to a program that better suited her athletic goals. With her existing background in powerlifting and football, she became a natural devotee to CFFB/PowerAthlete and testament to it's effectiveness. In 2012, she left D.C. and headed for the state named after her to be a part of the CrossFit Football Seminar Staff and a Jedi of Power Athlete HQ. Cali currently resides in Seattle where she works full time in law enforcement.
